An Outfit Builder is an interactive grid where users can drag-and-drop clothing pieces to build outfits live and click to buy the items directly from the store.

It all started with paper and scissors.

On a wintery Tuesday in 2018, our team cut apart some random old magazines and began piecing together images.

Ever since that fateful day, we've had an insatiable obsession with building collages and vision boards with our own hands.

That feeling never left.

In 2023, the Outfit Builder concept was created to bring that same playful, hands-on creativity to the web.

Now, from your phone or computer, anyone can mix and match pieces, build looks, and interact directly with your brand... all in real-time.

Whether it's a grid layout, a randomizer, or on-body styling, every Outfit Builder is custom-made to showcase your garments in a more personal, creative way.

Pieces can overlap, float, stack, and even display titles or price info when hovered — by mouse, finger, or even eyes (in headset view).

In 2025, the Outfit Builder app exclusively for Shopify was created.

Image editing and optimization

With the Diamond plan, simply hand off your images to us and we will do all of the work to make the backgrounds of your item images completely transparent, reduce their file size for faster load speeds, and size them to accurate dimensional proportions.

If you decide to select the Gold plan and plan to edit all of your item images on your own, you will receive a .PSD template via email with example product images to use as a reference guide for item image sizing and proportions. You can then upload them to the Item Image Submission form you'll receive after purchase of your plan.

This Policy explains how Dreamworld Lab LLC dba DOBERMAN ("we," "our," or "us") provides and operates the Outfit Builder App ("the App"), what data may be collected, how it is used, and the terms under which merchants ("you" or "your") may use the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Introduction
The Outfit Builder App enables merchants to provide drag-and-drop outfit building functionality on their Shopify storefronts. This Policy covers both our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Use
The App is intended for Shopify merchants. You must comply with all applicable laws and Shopify’s terms of service when using the App. You may not resell, sublicense, or misuse the App for unlawful or harmful purposes.

3. Data We Collect
To provide our services, the App may access certain store data through the Shopify API, including product and order data. Merchants may also choose to upload their own images or content directly into the App. This content may be stored on our servers or through third-party hosting providers. We do not knowingly collect information directly from your customers outside of what is provided through Shopify’s systems.

4. How We Use Data
Data is used solely to enable and improve the App’s functionality, including rendering outfit builders, supporting uploads, and troubleshooting. We do not sell or rent merchant or customer data.

5. Data Storage and Security
Uploaded files and store data may be stored on third-party hosting services. We implement reasonable security measures to protect data; however, no method of storage or transmission is 100 percent secure. Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the App or comply with legal obligations.

6. Customer Data
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable data protection laws such as GDPR or CCPA. We process customer data only as necessary to provide the App, and only as instructed by you via your Shopify store.

7. Data Deletion
If you uninstall the App, we will automatically lose access to your Shopify store data. If you have uploaded files or other content, you may request deletion of any stored copies by contacting us at info@outfitbuilderapp.com.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with data protection rights (including the European Union or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address above.

Children’s Data
The App is not directed to or intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, and related functions. These services process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.

Cookies and Tracking
The App itself does not use cookies to track individual end customers. If analytics or tracking tools are added in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws and for providing any required notices or consents to your customers. Your customers’ relationship is with you, not with us.

Limitations and Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamworld Lab LLC dba DOBERMAN and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of this Policy.

Subscription and Billing
Fees are billed through the Shopify App Store and are subject to Shopify’s billing terms. Refunds, if applicable, are handled in accordance with Shopify’s policies.

Termination
You may uninstall the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate this Policy or misuse the App.

Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above or through notices within the App.

Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
